    The thick, creamy Dubai chocolate I wanted didn’t exist in Australia.. So I made it.

    A year and a half ago, I started seeing Dubai chocolate pop up. As a chocolate lover, I tried bars across Sydney and Melbourne.

    They looked good online but every bite was a letdown. Thin, dry, and filled with shortcuts.

    So I made my own using couverture chocolate and quality ingredients that actually give the creaminess and flavour a bar should have.

    I saw it happening.. cheap bars were ruining what Dubai chocolate should actually taste like.

    As Dubai Chocolate Went Viral, So Did the Shortcuts.

    Many supermarket brands in Australia jumped on the Dubai trend. The backlash said it all.

    Glossy packaging, big name, but the bar itself? Thin, dry, forgettable. That moment made one thing clear to us: people deserve to know what real quality tastes like.
